• August 2022: Jay Prakash Goit's paper titled, “The effect of coastal terrain on nearshore offshore wind farms: A large-eddy simulation study” was chosen as a Featured Article of JRSE and highlighed and selected for the cover of its July/August issue. The American Institute of Physics (AIP) also highlighted the paper in the Scilight.

• 10-11 July 2022: For this year's lab trip, we went to Tottori University Renewable Energy Engineering Lab. and visited the field experiment site of the Butterfly wind turbine, and then travelled to Uppurui Wind Turbine Park in Shimane.


• 2 May 2022: Masakage Taguchi was awarded scholarship from Furukawa Technology Promotion Foundation for the FY 2022.


• 3 March 2022: Michihiro Hakoda won the best presentation award at the 52nd JSME Chugoku Shikoku Student Meeting.
